At Roots Luxury Rituals, we take great pride in the quality of our cosmetic products. This policy outlines the conditions under which returns and refunds are accepted, and the process to follow. Please read it carefully before making a purchase.

Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns on physical cosmetic products under the following conditions:

  • The return request is raised within 7 days of the delivery date.
  • The product is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging with all seals intact.
  • The product is defective, damaged in transit, or incorrectly delivered.
  • The original invoice or proof of purchase is available.
Please note: Due to hygiene and safety standards applicable to cosmetic products, we are unable to accept returns on opened, used, or tampered items unless they are genuinely defective.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances:

  • Products that have been opened, used, or had their seals broken (unless defective).
  • Products purchased during a sale, clearance, or promotional event marked as final sale.
  • Items returned after the 7-day return window has elapsed.
  • Gift cards or store credit vouchers.
  • Products that show signs of misuse, tampering, or damage caused by the customer.

How to Initiate a Return

To request a return, please follow the steps below. Do not ship the product back without prior confirmation from us.

Contact us within 7 days

Email us at rootsluxuryrituals@gmail.com with your order number, the product name, reason for return, and clear photos of the item (especially if damaged or defective).

Await our confirmation

Our team will review your request and respond within 2 business days. We will confirm whether your return is approved and schedule a courier pickup from your address.

Courier pickup arranged

Once approved, we will arrange a courier pickup from your registered delivery address. Please ensure the product is securely packed in its original packaging.

Inspection & store credit issued

Once we receive and inspect the returned product, store credit will be issued to your account within 7 business days, provided the item meets our return conditions.

Refund Process

All approved refunds are issued exclusively as store credit, which can be applied to any future purchase on our website.

  • Store credit will be credited to your registered account within 7 business days of us receiving the returned item.
  • You will receive an email notification once the store credit has been applied.
  • Store credit does not expire and has no minimum spend requirement.
  • Store credit is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Please note: We do not offer cash refunds or refunds to the original payment method. All refunds are in the form of store credit only.

Damaged or Incorrect Products

If you receive a product that is damaged during transit or different from what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with the following:

  • Your order number and the name of the affected product.
  • Clear photographs of the damaged or incorrect item, including the packaging.
  • A brief description of the issue.

We will prioritise your case and arrange a pickup and replacement or issue store credit at no additional cost to you. Claims raised after 48 hours of delivery may not be accepted for transit damage.

Order Cancellations

You may request a cancellation of your order under the following conditions:

  • Cancellations are accepted only before the order has been dispatched. Once the order is shipped, it cannot be cancelled.
  • To cancel, contact us immediately at rootsluxuryrituals@gmail.com or call +91 96650 76632 with your order details.
  • If the cancellation is accepted before dispatch, a full store credit will be issued within 7 business days.
Important: Orders placed during sales or with promotional discount codes cannot be cancelled once placed.
